So I’m pretty into music.
In the past two years I’ve deleted all of my iTunes and started from scratch to build a music library of over 4000 songs, and it continues to grow each day. So, needless to say, I listen to a ton of music and a ton of good music at that. There have been few albums, however, in recent time that has struck me quite like Adele’s 21.
On repeat the past week, tracks like her second single “Someone Like You” and “Don’t You Remember” make you feel for her heartbreak. The album is a break-up album through and through, with feelings of sorrow, vulnerability, and rage scattered throughout the 11 tracks.
With her flawless voice and the piano pounding throughout each song, you can’t help but want to jump in your car at night and scream these soulful and painful lyrics at the top of your lungs.
This one is a real winner for any musical taste and I recommend it more than any other album release this year (so far).
Other tracks to check out: All of them are gems but more specifically “Turning Tables” and “Set Fire To The Rain” were ones that caught my attention from the start.
