Snowy Halloween Weekend
Post by Rachel
Not only did a certain someone turn 21 yesterday (ahem, Christine)…
…but it’s also Halloween! I am loving so much about this time of year. On Saturday, we had a Halloween party in our building…and also had a crazy snowstorm! Our terrace was coated in about 4 inches of snow. We had power lines down in our neighborhood and the roads were really not so much. Here’s a shot of our terrace just after it started to snow…
With the crazy snow, I felt like I was getting ready for a Christmas party, not a Halloween party! Shaun even got outside and made a snowman (albeit an inappropriate one).
Luckily, since the party was in our building, we got dressed and ready in our apartment and then just headed down the hall. We got the party started with a little of this…
It was the first time I tried the whipped cream vodka, and it was pretty delish. I am usually a red wine only kind of girl, but this may have brought me back to the hard alcohol side 🙂
I was soooo happy with how our costumes turned out! Shaun really wanted to be zombies, so with my new Walking Dead obsession in mind, I happily obliged. Here’s the final result:
I hope you all have a great Halloween today! If you have costume pics, please send them our way!
