Kim’s Go To Beauty Products

November 8, 2011

Post by Kimberly

Feeling inspired by Rachel’s beauty board yesterday, I put together a board of my own go-to products.  I am on the same page with Rachel when it comes to a lot of the products so I had to switch it up a bit since 90% of the products are in my daily routine as well, especially the Bumble hairspray, ghd straightener and Aquaphor.  But I went through my things and am happy to add a few of the beauty products I am loving as of late! Enjoy!

clockwise from top right:

Estee Lauder Scrumptious Mascara: Christine introduced me to this mascara over the summer and I had to run out and get this immediately!  I have pretty long lashes naturally, but this completely transformed them so they are dark and lush.  I don’t think I could go back to any of the other mascaras I used to use!

Nars Irresistiblement Bronzer: I was turned off by this color when it was first used on me based on how bronze it looked…but if used properly it gives just the right amount of glow.  I also noticed it was sold out online…which shows how popular it is for all skin types, even fair ones like me!

Clark’s Botanicals Intense Radiance Mask: I signed up for Birchbox a few months ago and I am absolutely loving it! For $10 a month, Birchbox sends you a box of samples each month of very high end products.  I promised when I signed up I would USE ALL OF THE PRODUCTS.  To avoid clutter, if I knew I wouldn’t use them, I tossed them immediately.  So far, I have only thrown out one perfume sample…otherwise I love them all.  Including this radiance mask…it left my skin feeling silky and smooth and not hard and dry like most masks.

amika: oil treatment for the hair: Another Birchbox gem.  I absolutely love this oil.  I put a dab on my hand and put it on each layer of hair before running my straightener through it.  It makes my hair feel smooth, eliminates flyaways and smells AMAZING.

Josie Maran Argon Oil: Christine gifted this product to us last year for Christmas and I am just now really getting a good use out of it.  Trying to save money, I have been giving myself manicures at home and this oil cures my raw cuticle dilemma every time.  I put a tiny drop on the bed of my nail and then rub it in. Magic. I love it!

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub: I don’t use this product enough!  It leaves my lips feeling so smooth and the taste is so yummy – I try and use it before a long night out to make sure my lips don’t dry up and crack with my lipstick on!

Coco Mademoiselle: I get compliments on this smell ALL. THE. TIME. I found it because my good friend, Justine, always smelled so good and I absolutely love it.  I don’t know if I could change it up any time soon.

Essie ‘Hot Cocoa’ Nail Polish: Love Essie nail polish and this has ben a consistent for me for awhile. It’s perfect for the Fall and Winter and I am so happy I have it in my collection!
